The Tyrone FFA recently returned from the state convention at Penn State University, which was held over a three-day period. The Ag Mechanics team consisting of Andrew Clark, Jon Hoffman, Jamie Thompson and Denis Thompson won first place in the State Ag Mechanics competition. Clark won first place overall, and the other boys all placed in the top 10. Their award includes $1,000 towards their travel as they now advance to the national convention in Indianapolis next October. Amanda Conrad also earned 6th place in the interview contest and Misty Shomo placed in the top half of the Horse Evaluation contest earning 52nd place.
