Everyone get ready, because “Thoroughly Modern Millie” is heading this way. On May 9 at 7 p.m. and May 10 at 2 p.m. the Grier School will be putting on a production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” at the Tyrone Area High School.(more)

Preliminary hearing scheduled in Behrens case
Richard Behrens, 65, of Tyrone, was charged with indecent assault from an incident that allegedly took place April 3 at a pull off along Decker Hollow Road, in Snyder Township. It was reported that Behrens and an adult teenage female from Tyrone were on their way home from an Altoona Curve game, and Behrens pulled over along Decker Hollow Road.(more)

Golden Eagles senior track and field athletes honored prior to victory over West Branch
Senior track and field athletes participated in their last dual meet at the Tyrone oval Tuesday afternoon. Both the girls and boys teams over the past four seasons have had a considerable amount of success and fond memories.(more)
