Pam Weber’s 15-year-old daughter Tiffanie has not had contact with family members since August 8. The family knows their daughter is in the area, but are having a hard time tracking her down.
“I just want to tell her to come home,” Pam told The Daily Herald yesterday. “We really miss her.”
Pam and the Tyrone Borough Police Department are now asking the public for their assistance in locating the juvenile.
“She was seen here in the Tyrone area just on Friday,” said Pam. “She’s usually in the area on the weekend, then floats up into the Altoona area during the week. Her family loves her and we miss her. We want her to come home.”
Pam believes her daughter is in the company of 17-year-old Patrick Lattieri of Altoona. She said Lattieri ran away from a juvenile home in July and believes her daughter isn’t making contact with family members because she fears it will jeopardize their relationship, as well as get him in more trouble with the law.
“We’ve had absolutely no contact with her,” Pam said. “We don’t think she’s attempted to call us because of caller ID. She is real close with her grandmother though, and it surprises us that she hasn’t even contacted her.”
Tiffanie was reported missing on Aug. 8. She stands five-feet, six-inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She may also be wearing glasses.
When she was last seen, she was wearing a light blue sweatsuit with the words “Baby Girl” printed on the front. She was also wearing either white tennis shoes or black sandals and carrying a brown purse. Pam also said Tiffanie’s light blue Adidas duffle bag is missing.
Lattieri is described as being approximately five-feet, nine-inches tall and has a thin build. Police believe he has dyed blonde hair.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of either of these individuals is encouraged to contact the Tyrone Borough Police Department at 684-1365.
