Week Seven featured a pair of run-a-ways and a three-point contest as Tyrone Elks Lodge opened a two-game lead on the rest of the field.
In the first game reported, DeGol’s (3-4) handled Reliance Bank 55-17 to move to within one win of the .500 mark. DeGol and McKeehen paced the winners with 15 and 14 points respectively. Reliance Bank (1-6) was led by Cherry with seven points and D. Burket with six.
In the closets score of the afternoon, Stultz and Brown (5-2) moved into a second place tie with I-99 Antiques by edging Ramsey C. P. A. 35-32. Stultz and Brown was fronted by Desch with a league-best 17 points and Campbell added 10 in a winning cause. Faretta pumped in 14 points to lead Ramsey C. P. A. (0-7), which remained winless, while losing by five points or less for the third straight week. Ev. Lewis and Shultz each chipped in seven points for Ramsey.
In the final contest of the day, Tyrone Elks Lodge (7-0) had little trouble in bumping I-99 Antiques 51-17. Elks Lodge has handed I-99 Antiques (5-2) their only two losses in the league and has outscored I-99 101-49 in doing so. Dionis had 16 points to lead Tyrone Elks Lodge and Doyle tossed in eight. Plummer paced I-99 Antiques with 11 points and Derek, Nevling and Stever added two markers each.
