In the battle of two previously undefeated teams, Tyrone Elks Lodge (4-0) showed early season strength by knocking off Stultz and Brown 40-25 to jump into the top spot by themselves. Reihart led Elks Lodge with 11 points and Seiner and Carper each added six points. Brokenshire scored nine points for Stultz and Brown (3-1) and Campbell added four.
In the second game reported Tanneyhill with a league-best 13 points and McKeehan with nine paced DeGol’s to a 49-27 triumph over Ramsey C. P. A. to even the record at 2-2. Ramsey C. P. A. (0-4) was led by Faretta with nine points and Ev. Lewis with six points.
In the final game reported, I-99 Antiques (3-1) fashioned a 10-point 34-24 win over Reliance Bank (0-4). Barefoot led the winners with eight points and Plummer added five points. Cherry and Emigh each pumped in seven points to lead Reliance Bank.
