Hollidaysburg State Police
A residence on Hollen Lane in Antis Township was the scene of criminal mischief shortly after 12:30 a.m., Monday.
Someone known to police, but not identified in their report, broke a window out of a screen door at the residence of Larry Salyer. According to the report, the window was broken when a jack stand was thrown at the door.

State Police report a two-vehicle accident at an intersection in Snyder Township on Saturday.
The incident occurred just before 2 p.m. when a vehicle operated by 79-year-old Guy G. Mogle was attempting to turn left from Grazierville Road onto old route 220. Mogle pulled out in front of a vehicle operated by 28-year-old Bonnie J. Wiser of Tyrone.
The left-front corner of Wiser’s vehicle struck the left-rear corner of Mogle’s vehicle. The report indicated Mogle was at fault.
Wiser had an eight-year-old female passenger, Jordan M. Wiser, in her vehicle.
All those involved were wearing seatbelts and police reported no injuries.

Police have a stationary exercise bike and a “Skytrek” stationary ski machine in their possession after it was found last week along Skelp Road in Tyrone Township. The items were found around 9 p.m. on Thursday along the road.

An 87-year-old man has been the victim of a burglary in the Reightown area of Antis Township.
The incident happened some time between Wednesday and Friday of last week when someone entered the Clifford Parshall residence and removed $1,500 in cash, a gold Seiko watch and a wallet containing approximately $40 in cash. The total loss was set at $1,650 in cash and valuables.

An Altoona-based Salvage company was the victim of theft at its location on State Route 4019 in Antis Township.
The incident happened sometime between 4 p.m., July 4 and 3:30 p.m. on July 5 at Caracciolo Steel and Metals. Someone took several items from a commercial truck which belongs to the business.
The items taken included eight drive lug tires with aluminum rims valued at $5,600. The perp(s) also loosened the retaining lug nuts from another truck at the same location, but were unable to remove the wheels.
Once the culprit(s) removed the truck wheels, they utilized wooden blocks to support the axles. Police indicated a small rental box van cargo area truck in removing the items which were valued at $5,600.

Police have arrested a Bellwood woman on DUI charges after an incident on July 3 along State Route 764 in Altoona.
Katherine Kay Gosman, 48, was stopped for traffic violations at 10:11 p.m., according to state police.
She was then found to be under the influence of alcohol. She failed field sobriety tests and was placed into custody.
Upon conviction, she faces fines/and or imprisonment as well as a loss of her license.

An ATV was taken from a barn in Tyrone Township, sometime between 10 a.m., July 1 and 6 p.m. on July 2.
An unknown suspect removed a 2003 Honda ATV TRX 500 from a barn belonging to 65-year-old John Burket of Tyrone. The vehicle is green in color and valued at $6,700.

Criminal mischief at the Tipton Fire Hall last month came in the form of a scratch to a car according to state police.
Brandie Lyn Hannah of Tyrone was listed as the victim in the report regarding an incident which occurred on June 6 between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Someone scratched the right rear Hannah’s blue van.
