Johnson and Wales University, America’s Career University, held May commencement ceremonies at each of its five national campuses.
David Saylor of Tyrone received an associate degree in Marketing from the College of Business at the Denver Campus ceremony. Nationwide, a total of 8,224 undergraduate degrees, 528 graduate degrees and 12 honorary degrees were awarded.

William R. Nichols, Tyrone, is scheduled to exhibit Angus cattle at the 2004 National Junior Angus Show at the American Royal Complex, Kansas City, Missouri, July 12-17.
William, a junior member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in St. Joseph, Missouri, is one of 791 young Angus breeders from 37 states who have entered a total of 1,682 head in the show.

Dr. Carrie A. Judy, M.D., who is a captain in the Air Force, was honored at a banquet held at the Officer’s Club on Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was chosen as resident of the year. Last year, she was honored as intern of the year. Dr. Judy, who is serving as chief resident, is finishing her final year of residency. She is a 1994 graduate of TAHS.
