Thelma I. Kimberling, 66, of Pennsylvania House, 2 W. 11 St., Tyrone, died Sunday Aug. 7, 2005 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 1, 1938 in Petersburg, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Amelia Anna (Phillips) Thompson. She was formerly married to Samuel Kimberling who survives in Tyrone.
Also surviving are six daughters, Tammy Kay Moore and husband, William of Philipsburg; Anna Theresa Walk of Tyrone; Dixie Jo Confer and husband Brad of Tyrone, Donna Jean Stine and husband, Lester of Port Matilda; Tina Marie Ramsey of Tyrone and J. Rebecca Romano and husband, John of Tyrone; a son, Oliver Lee Thompson of Tyrone, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, six sisters, Mary E. Boughamer of Tyrone, Carrie Jane Evans of Somerset, Stella Marie Bennett of Tyrone, Adele Cramer of Petersburg, Priscilla Mae Walk of Tyrone, Jean Louise Demmons of Dixmont, ME and two brothers, James Riley Thompson of Julian and John William Thompson of W. Palm Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Eugene Kimberling and a brother, Robert.
Mrs. Kimberling retired in 2001 from Home Nursing Agency, Altoona as a Home Health Aide, following eight years of service. She was previously employed at Big Yank, Tyrone for many years.
Thelma enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone with Rev. Michelle Somerville officiating. Interment will follow at Mooresville Cemetery, Huntingdon Co. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
