The Tyrone junior high girls basketball team team dropped a close contest to the Lewistown girls on Tuesday.
MaryElyn Hunter, Teanna Kobuck and Suzanne Zimmerman each scored six points to lead a determined Lady Eagle effort, but fell just short in a 20-17 loss to Lewistown. Paris Harden pulled down 13 rebounds for the Lady Eagles, who lost for the fifth straight game.
Tyrone (0-5), with three of their losses by three points or less, travels to Bellefonte for a game on Thursday. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
