The Tyrone Elks Lodge No. 212 has scheduled its annual Youth Recognition Banquet for Wednesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m.
The banquet acts as an opportunity to showcase area youth in regards to academics, community involvement, athletics, scouting and service-related functions.
Special presentations for Educator of the Year will be made, and the guest speaker this year will be Miss Pennsylvania, Nicole Brewer.
The evening will be dedicated to honoring a variety of talented youth in the area, as well as recognizing special guests for their various contributions to the community and Elks programs.
Whether it is in the academic, athletic, or public service arena, members of the Elks would like to honor these individuals for their contributions of time, talent and energy. Those attending will enjoy the recognition of student athletes, scouts, academic standouts and other notable achievers.
