The Tyrone Area High School golf team lost a match to Central Mountain at Sinking Valley on Wednesday.
Ryan Ruscio and Jason Tuskovich recorded cards of 90 to lead the Golden Eagles, who fell to 3-7 on the season.
Everett of Central Mountain was the medalist for the day with a score of 82. Central Mountain posted five golfers who all had scores in the 80s to pick up the win.
Matt Brooks carded a 92 for the Golden Eagles, Evan Brush recorded a 95, and Kyle Updike scored a 98 for Tyrone.
The Tyrone golfers next outing will be next Thursday, Sept. 28 at Huntingdon’s Standing Stone course, against Huntingdon, Mount Union and Penns Valley.
