The Fifth Annual Tyrone Community Night at the Altoona Curve is scheduled for August 17, with game time beginning at 7:05 p.m.
All Tyrone area residents are encouraged to attend what is sure to be a fun community night out at Blair County Ball Park, as the Altoona Curve is scheduled to take on the Erie Seawolves.
Tickets are $5 and are available at the Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce office. Tickets can be mailed. Children two and under are admitted for free.
Some of the entertainment scheduled for the evening includes: pre-game entertainment, “God Bless America” sung by Tyrone resident Dave Kaup, first pitch, between inning activities, birthday announcements, fireworks after the game and more.
