Grace Church of Tyrone will offer the “DVD Study”, “Parenting, the Early Years” by Drs. Les & Leslie Parrott beginning this Sunday, January 13 at 6 p.m. It is a six week study on “10 Biblical Traits Your Children Will Remember You For”. The Parrott’s have been guests on Oprah and Focus on the Family, as well as being weekly featured family contributors on Fox TV.
Guests are welcome to join this study that will be held Sunday evenings 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church facility on Columbia Avenue across from East End Pizza. Couples, single parents and or guardians are very welcome to be strengthened by this very practical parenting study. Roy Garthwaite and his wife Diane will lead the study. They are the parents of three daughters, Charity, Christa and Melody.
A nursery for pre-school age children, “Handi’s Fun Club” (K-5th grade) and Middle & Senior High youth group will be offered simultaneously with the parenting study. There is a class workbook that accompanies the study.
