League officials of the Tyrone VFW Teener Baseball League have set April 7, for registration and tryouts for the 2008 VFW Teener League season.
Registration and tryouts will be held rain or shine at Ferner Field on Saturday, April 7 from 5 p.m. until dusk.
Competition eligiblity requires youth to be 13, 14, 15, or 16 years old to participate. The athletes must not reach age 17 before Aug. 1, 2008.
Parents or guardians must be present and provide a copy of the youth’s birth certificate. Registration fee is $40 per youth and $20 for each additional player from the same family.
