Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 2007-08 TAHS Boys Varsity Basketball Team on a GREAT season! If you did not have the opportunity to see these young men play, you missed a great time. This team played all season with determination, confidence, and most importantly, heart. It was a joy to watch them play week after week, and for them to earn a place in the second round of the PIAA playoffs was awesome. This team should be very PROUD of themselves for their achievement.
I would like to wish the seniors (Matt Brooks, Steve Catich, Johnny Franco, and Brandon Gehret) good luck as they graduate and start new chapters in their lives. I have no doubt that they will all be successful in whatever they choose to do.
Good luck to the 2008-09 Boys Varsity Basketball Team. I encourage all of Tyrone to go watch them play next season and give this team your support. I know I will be in the stands cheering for them. I hope you will be there too!
