A local family is in need of the community’s support.
Scott Clark, of RD3 Box 43A, Tyrone was in a dirt bike accident on Labor Day. After several surgeries, doctors still don’t know the extent of his injuries, and Scott could be in the hospital for a year or two.
Scott is currently at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, and his wife, Darlene, is staying every day at the hospital with him. The family does not have enough money for Darlene to stay at a hotel. She is not working right now, so she can be with Scott.
The couple has three children attending Tyrone Area School District – Scott Jr., Cassandra and Shanyn – and Darlene’s mother is taking care of the children for now.
Needless to say, the Clark family is in great need of community support.
The family would like all churches in the area to include them on their prayer lists.
Those who are able may also make monetary donations to the family at an account set up in their name, The Clark Family Fund, at any Citizens Bank location. Tyrone’s Citizens Bank is located at 501 Third Street. The phone number is 684-1711.
Whren Associates, located at 1057 Logan Avenue in Tyrone, is also accepting donations of non-perishable items to be taken to the house.
