Scenes from last year’s Family Fun Blast

On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Tyrone will be holding the third annual Family Fun Blast, and everyone in the area is invited to attend!
This free event will take place at the Tyrone Area High School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We are inviting all families to come out and have a ‘Family Blast’,” said Gunter Volders, committee chair. “The event is focused on health, fun, and information for the whole family. Kids can play games, participate in crafts and win prizes. Mom and dad can get information on local, county and state programs.”
This event is truly free – free fun, free food, free information and much more. Come see Steamer and Buddy Bear or take a closer look at a Hookies fire truck.
Car seat safety checks will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. courtesy of Kelly Wike State Farm Insurance in partnership with Safe Kids. While car seat safety checks are free, setting up an appointment time is appreciated by calling 684-0502.
“We really want to thank all the agencies and businesses that help make this day a success. The Rotary Club of Tyrone feels that it is important that area residents have access to information that would make their family safer, healthier and more fun,” Volders concluded.
