The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, the Blair County Drug Task Force, and the Tyrone Borough Police announced the arrest of a Tyrone woman during a drug bust Friday afternoon.
Chandra Taylor of RD 5, Box 130, Tyrone and Lemmel Myers of Brooklyn, New York were arrested and will be charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of criminal conspiracy and two counts of possession.
Neil Myers, also of Brooklyn, New York, upon being apprehended, will be arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of criminal conspiracy, two counts of possession, along with fleeing and eluding a police officer.
A search warrent operation was conducted in the Tyrone area at approximately 12:30 p.m. Friday as a result of an ongoing investigation. Police seized $550 in cash, 141 packets of heroin with a street value of $4,000 and numerous packaging materials used to distribute them.
Taylor and Lemmel Myers will appear before District Judge Fred Miller for preliminary arraignment. Bail will be set and a preliminary hearing date will be scheduled.
