We have progressed a lot since Day 1. We have come together as a team in that time. As individuals and as a team we are getting better and better every day.
My role is pretty important, being the first backup for practically everybody on the offensive line. If someone gets hurt, I’m the next guy out to take his place. Plus, I give everybody else a break now and then to help keep them fresh.
This is my senior year and it seemed like preseason camp went by really quick this year.
This Friday night and the game with Bellwood, pretty much means everything to our entire team. Right now, I would say the Bellwood game is more important to us than a district championship. We are already getting fired up for the game. We aren’t waiting for Friday night, we are bouncing off the walls, ready to play, ready to bite tires and take it to Bellwood.
I probably won’t miss the running and conditioning in August and the tough three-a-days in camp very much, now that this one was the last one the seniors have to go through, but I will definitely miss Friday nights and the football games. As a senior however, I am really looking forward to our games this year.
