Practice went very well today. All the players on the team pushed real hard to get the work done. We had a real good practice.
The three-a-days were pretty tough the first two weeks. Those practices help you out to get in shape and get ready to play during the season. The practices are staying pretty consistent so far this week, even though with school, we only have afterschool practice now.
I have been pushing myself harder this year and made myself become better in the drills and things that we have done. That has made me better on the practice field and hopefully that will transfer over so I can do better on the game field as well.
Tyrone football means pride to me, leadership for those of us who are seniors, having fun and enjoying what we are doing and hitting people.
I’m not sure how we are going to do this year, but I think we will do well, if we all work together and we play as a team.
Dedicating this year to Randy Estright is very special to me. I’ve known Randy as long as I can remember. I played Youth Football with him and it’s just a shame that he’s not here with us, although he will be with us in spirit. This year means something special. We are going to give an extra 110 percent to do it for him.
