W. Patrick Drain, 86, a resident of St. Anne’s Home, Columbia, and formerly of Upper Darby, died Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the home.
He was born June 1, 1916 in Altoona, the son of William L. and Mary Ann (Schoch) Drain.
Surviving is a sister, Sister Anastasia Marie Drain of Columbia.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Rose Marie and Kathleen and a brother Bernard.
Mr. Drain retired in 1988 from Dorchester Condominiums, Philadelphia as a Maintenance Engineer following 16 years service.
He was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church, Upper Darby and of the Knights of St. George. He had been in the teaching order of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart for 37 years.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at 1:45 p.m. at the Chapel of St. Anne’s Home with Father Michael Lecha, Celebrant.
Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Burial will be on Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery.
