Anne Heather Meredith, age 23 of State College, died Thursday, February 27, 2003 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born January 29, 1980 in State College, the daughter of John F. and Wanda M. Ardry Meredith of State College.
She was a 1998 graduate of State College Area High School and was a senior at Penn State in the College of Education.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
She was a part-time lifeguard for the Athletic Club in State College and was employed as a counselor during the summer for the Centre Region Parks and Recreation. She enjoyed music, reading, her friends and her dog, Maggie.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents Howard and Betty Ardry of Nittany, her godparents Thomas and Janice Stoenr of Reading and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2003 and from 9-9:30 a.m. Monday March 3, 2003 at the Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2003 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College with the Reverends James D. Zatalava and Carl Derk officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
