Larry D. Waite, 48, of 121 E. 23rd Avenue, Altoona died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003 at Altoona Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1955 in Tyrone, a son of Samuel D. and Janet (Fuoss) Waite. On Feb. 14, 1979 in Cumberland, Md., he married Patricia A. Bennis.
Surviving is his wife; two daughters, Rebecca and Jennifer at home; a son, Matthew at home; two grandchildren, Josie and Zoe; his parents of Tyrone; a sister, Darlene Parham of Suffolk, Va.; and two brothers, Bill of State College and Jack of Tecumseh, Mich.
Mr. Waite was vice-president of DeGol Brothers Lumber for 14 years. He was previously employed at 84 Lumber for 10 years.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Tyrone and was a 1973 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and a 1977 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Individual and Family Studies. He loved and enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Feller memorial Home with Pastor Roy Garthwaite officiating. Interment will follow at Charlottesville Cemetery in Antis Township. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
