The Tyrone swim teams split with Marion Center on Wednesday evening in the Tyrone pool.
The Tyrone boys defeated their Marion Center counterparts 74-60, while the Lady Eagles fell to Marion Center by an 86-73 margin.
Eric Nulton and Brian Pearson were double winners in individual events. Nulton had firsts in the 200 IM and the 100 freestyle, while Pearson won the 500 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. Zac Yeaton won the 200 freestyle and Chris Bradigan won the 100 butterfly. Yeaton also placed second in the 100 breaststroke, Matt Grimm was second in the 100 butterfly, Matt Elder in the 500 freestyle and Chris Chamberlao in the 100 backstroke.
Jeri Harper was the only double winner for the Lady Eagles in their dual against the Stingers. Harper won the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke and anchored the winning 400 freestyle relay with teammates Leah Cherry, Zoe Yeaton and Paige Black. Black won the 50 freestyle, Cherry took the 500 freestyle and Ashley Gilliland won the 100 breaststroke. Yeaton was second in the 100 butterfly and Lea Otto was victorious in the 100 breaststroke.
