Heimer Eye Care Associates and Jeffrey L. Heimer, M.D., are pleased to announce the addition of Jill R. Finke, OD, optometrist.
Dr. Finke is joining Dr. Heimer at both the Tyrone and State College offices.
Dr. Finke is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. She also completed her undergraduate studies at Purdue University and Indiana University.
Dr. Finke completed internships in optometry at the Indiana University School of Optometry Clinics in Indianapolis and Bloomington, Indiana and at the River Valley Vision Centers in Northfield, Minnesota. She also served as a research assistant at the Infant Vision Lab at the Indiana University School of Optometry.
Her professional awards include graduating With Honors from the top-ranked Indiana University School of Optometry, membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, and a Dean’s Summer Research Fellowship at the Indiana University School of Optometry.
Dr. Finke’s professional affiliations include the American, Pennsylvania, and Indiana Optometric Associations, Volunteers in Optometric Services to Humanity, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Dr. Finke provides optometric services including comprehensive eye exams, the treatment of eye diseases, the prescription of spectacles, and contact lens fittings for people of all ages.
