Congressman Bill Shuster is hosting a series of Medicare Town Hall meetings across his Ninth District this week.
The purpose of the meetings is to discuss the issue of Medicare and specifically to help constituents to lean about the new Medicare drug discount cards.
The congressman held the first of the townhalls in Huntingdon this morning, he scheduled to be in Somerset County on Tuesday.
Shuster will then bring the townhall meeting to Blair County on Wednesday when he’ll appear at the Blair Senior Center in Altoona at 10 a.m. He’ll wrap up the townhall meetings with additional appearances scheduled for Thursday in Franklin County and Friday in Indiana.
