Hollidaysburg State Police
A one-vehicle accident occurred early Monday morning on Interstate 99 northbound, just south of the Pinecroft exit in Logan Township.
Michelle Mincer, 23, Mill Hall, was traveling north on I-99 when her vehicle struck a large rock lying on the road. The accident caused substantial damage to the undercarriage of the car and it had to be towed.
Mincer was not injured in the accident which occurred about 2:15 a.m.

Police report a person known to them borrowed a vehicle from James Fredrick Henninger of Tyrone and failed to return it at the agreed upon time.
The incident report indicates the victim’s address as Teaberry Street in Snyder Township. The report also shows the incident happened sometime between 10:00 a.m., Saturday and shortly after 3 p.m., Sunday.

State police said someone caused damage to a hasp to gain entry to a home in Antis Township.
The incident happened sometime between June 17 and Saturday at the residence of Donald Marshall Sipes located along State Route 867 near Roots Crossing. Police list the case as a burglary, but gave no details if anything was taken from the home.

A man and a woman have been cited for harassment charges after a domestic dispute along at the Cherry Street Apartments in Antis Township.
Police indicated the incident occurred at 5:25 p.m. on Saturday.

Two juvenile girls have been cited for taking merchandise from a gift shop at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park without paying for the items.
Police report the incident happened around 5:15 on Saturday afternoon.

A Virginia man was injured over the weekend in a one-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon shortly before 3 p.m.
Hongjian Li, 32, Charlottesville, VA, was traveling north on Interstate 99 about a half-mile south of the Tyrone exit in Snyder Township when he drifted off the road into the east shoulder area.
Li attempted to travel back onto the road and in doing so, lost control of his vehicle. His car then struck the east embankment and rolled over several times.
Li was taken to Altoona Hospital, while his car suffered severe damage.

Police have reported a case of criminal mischief which happened sometime Friday or Saturday in Snyder Township.
Someone caused damage to a fence at the Moovin Self Storage along State Route 4027 by pulling it down with a vehicle.

A case of retail theft has been reported in Antis Township on Friday at about 2:40 p.m..
A 14-year-old girl from the Tyrone area has been accused of taking a $2.50 bottle of lip gloss. Store employees were able to apprehend the girl as she fled the store. She received a non-traffic citation for retail theft and was released to her adult sister.

An unidentified victim has reported an incident along a wooded area along Gypsy Camp Hollow Road in Snyder Township.
The incident happened sometime Thursday when items were dumped on wooded property. The scattered rubbish included four old tires, a washing machine, a six-foot tool bin, old shingles and old wood.

An Altoona man has been arrested on drug and DUI charges after an incident dating back to late May in Antis Township.
Police said 44-year-old Timothy James Lynn was stopped for traffic violations and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. After failing field sobriety tests, he was placed into custody.
Suspected marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia were also seized. Upon conviction he faces fines and/or imprisonment as well as a loss of license.

Huntingdon State Police
An Altoona man was involved in a DUI-related crash at about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday in Warriors Mark Township.
Jason Miller, 25, was northbound on State Route 550 when he lost control rounding a curve. His vehicle flipped onto its roof.
Miller then left the scene on foot and was later located about a mile from the scene of the accident. He received minor injuries in the accident and is expected to be arrested for DUI and numerous other traffic violations.
Miller’s pick-up truck was totaled.

A Tyrone man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 550 in Warriors Mark Township early Saturday.
Glen Hotaling, 53, was traveling on the road about a half-mile west of the village of Warriors Mark at about 3:20 a.m. It was then, three horses ran into the path of his pick-up truck. Hotaling’s vehicle struck one of the horses and after the impact his vehicle came to rest along the side of the road.
He was transported to a hospital by private vehicle after complaining of neck and back pain. The horse suffered minor injuries.

Philipsburg State Police
An Altoona man was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 220 in Taylor Township, Centre County, shortly after 9:30 last night.
Michael R. Goar, 33, was traveling south on 220 when a deer jumped into the path of his vehicle. The car struck the deer causing moderate damage to Goar’s vehicle.
He was not injured, his vehicle was towed from the scene at his request.

Charges have been filed in an aggravated assault case which happened in Port Matilda earlier this month.
Police reported some men arrived at the residence of 36-year-old Richard Lou Loner, 106 West St. shortly before midnight on June 20.
They knocked on the victim’s door, which Loner answered. However, when Loner answered no one was outside of the door. At that point, one of the men called him outside and as he exited the residence he was jumped by three men know to him.
The assailants struck, punched and kicked Loner even after he was on the ground causing moderate body injury about his face, stomach and ribs. He was taken to Mt. Nittany Hospital by Port Matilda Ambulance for treatment of his injuries.
Charges in the case were filed recently against a 32-year-old Port Matilda man for aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. Police did not identify the man in their updated report. Previously, police said charges would be filed in the case pending the closing of investigations.
