The Tyrone Youth Baseball Association and the Tyrone Area YMCA are sponsoring a Fall Baseball League.
Dave Brisbin will be the head instructor and the age group involved will be 8-12 years of age.
Team size will be limited to 10 members per team.
Games will be played on weekends and will begin on Saturday, August 14 and end on Sunday October 17 and will be played at the Tyrone Youth Baseball Field.
The time for games will be Saturdays at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 12 noon and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m..
Groups of five that come together will be maintained on the same team.
Groups supply their own equipment.
New Line Visible baseballs will be used.
Umpiring clinics will be offered throughout the season.
Players clinics will be offered throughout the week.
Hats and shirts will be provided.
The deadline for registration is July 24 , 2004. A registration fee of $50 per child is required. Make checks payable to Tyrone Youth Baseball League.
Registration is not limited to Tyrone Area School District. The Altoona and Bellwood areas as well as others have already been contacted about the possibility of teams entering the Fall League.
