The Olympians team made a concerted effort in Week Three games of the Tyrone Area Junior High Summer Basketball League, winning a pair of basketball games that catapulted them from a three-way tie after the second week into an undisputed hold on first place, at least until this week’s games.
Olympians solidly decisioned Team USA in the opening game of the day on Thursday, July 8 by a 35-27 count. Travis Peterman fronted the winners with 16 points, while Team USA was led by 10 points from Nick DeGol.
