Registrations for the 2004 Tyrone YMCA Fall/Winter Open Basketball League will be accepted from August 2 through Sept. 3.
To be considered registered, teams must pay a fee of $280 per team. The first 11 teams to be registered will be accepted (NO EXCEPTIONS). You must pay a $50 forfeit fee, which will be refunded back to teams at the end of the season, provided there are no forfeits.
Games will be played on Sunday afternoons beginning Sept. 12 at the Tyrone YMCA gym. Game times will be 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m.
A minimum of five and maximum of 15 players may be on a team’s roster. Players may be included on only one roster. Rosters are to be completed and handed into the league director no later than the captains’ meeting.
Every team must be wearing the same colored shirts with numbers (NO EXCEPTIONS). When you pay your fees, you can give a team color, colors are on a first come, first serve basis. If your team does not wear the same colored and numbered shirts, the game will result in a forfeit.
The post-season playoffs will consist of a single elimination tournament.
The captains’ meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004 at 7 p.m. at the Tyrone Area YMCA.
