The Tyrone Kiwanis Club is currently conducting its annual coat drive for the Tyrone Salvation Army service unit.
Kiwanis member and Salvation Army volunteer Bob Maser said more coats are needed. He said last week alone 71 coats, 30 hats and 15 pairs of boots were handed out.
Children’s coats are desperately needed as well.
Anyone who is interested in donating coats may drop them off at the Tyrone Social Center starting at 10 a.m. next week.
Also all next week, coats will be handed out to those in need from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily at the Tyrone Social Center.
