Seven Bellwood-Antis FFA members were presented with the Keystone FFA Degree at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show in Harrisburg last week.
The degrees were awarded during a special ceremony held at the 2005 Pennsylvania FFA Mid-Winter Convention.
The Bellwood-Antis FFA members receiving their degrees were Joe Carosielli, Brandon Cherry, Ben Grove, Dustin Hoffer, Travis Hoover, Cody McFarland and Josh Moore. All seven are senior students at Bellwood-Antis High School.
Joe Carosielli was also recognized as an FFA Regional Star in the South Central FFA Region. Carosielli is the son of Tony and Kathy Carosielli of Bellwood, and he received a special plaque and $100 cash award for his accomplishments. Joe was one of only 16 students in the entire state of Pennsylvania to be selected for this honor.
The FFA Mid-Winter Convention is held each year in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Farm Show. Over 3,000 FFA members, advisors and guests from across the state attended this event, with 283 FFA members receiving their Keystone FFA Degrees.
