An Altoona man reported he was assaulted at a bar in Bellwood on Dec. 28.
Robert Carson, 40, said he was assaulted at the unidentified tavern by someone known to him. Police did not reveal the name of the person who allegedly assaulted Carson. In a release issued earlier last week, state police said they were continuing their investigation.

State police report a protection from abuse violation happened at a Bellwood tavern on Dec. 28.
Rebecca Smith, 31, of Tyrone, reported a person known to her violated a PFA order by approaching her, speaking to her and touching her at an unidentified drinking establishment in Bellwood.

Several hundred dollars worth of tools were taken from a residence on Wendy Hill Lane, off of Ridge Road in Warriors Mark Township sometime between 5:30 p.m., Dec. 27 and 5:30 p.m., Dec. 28.
Someone entered onto the property of Adam James Clark and removed a Dewalt Hammerdrill, a Dewalt cordless drill, two roofing guns, four red rubber hoses and a Portercable air compressor from a locked tool trailer and then fled the scene. The items were valued at $712.

A Tyrone woman was involved in a two-vehicle accident shortly after midnight on Dec. 28 on State Route 220, south of the Port Matilda intersection in Centre County.
Fifty-two-year-old Margaret Norkvogler had her pickup stopped on Route 220 because of several deer that were on the road at the time. Eighteen-year-old Christianna Elzina Carter was traveling behind Norkvolger in a station wagon. Carter failed to stop and her station wagon hit the rear end of Norkvolger’s pickup.
Both drivers were belted and neither were injured. The station wagon had moderate damage, while the pickup truck had slight damage, according to Philipsburg-based State Police.

A Tyrone man suffered a minor injury in a one vehicle accident on State Route 4027 in the village of Vail in Snyder Township on Dec. 29, shortly after 11 p.m.
Justin Wayne Miller was driving a pickup south bound and left the west berm of the road and struck a utility pole.
Miller was taken to Tyrone Hospital and treated for a minor injury and released.
State police said Miller’s truck had severe damage.

State police have released details about a burglary in Snyder Township which happened sometime between Dec. 29, 2004 and Jan. 5, 2005.
The incident happened at 211 Hancock Street when someone broke a window to gain entry into the residence of the late Helen Miles. The burglar took a washstand. Total damage was listed at $10 and the total value of the stolen item was listed at $50.

State police reported an incident of underage drinking on New Year’s Eve in Snyder Township, shortly after 5 p.m. along Interstate 99, north of the Tyrone exit.
A vehicle driven by 20-year-old Eric S. Burnett of Pittsburgh was observed being operated in an erratic manner. A traffic stop was conducted and a passenger, 20-year-old Glen D. Braden, Jr. is alleged to have attempted to conceal a 30-pack of beer. Also observed between Braden’s feet were several empty and one partially consumed beer container.
A search of the vehicle revealed two additional cases of beer and one bottle of wine. Burnett was not over the influence, but was charged with transporting alcoholic beverages. Braden was charged with consumption.
