A rural Tyrone man was the victim of theft at a residence on 1st Avenue and 9th Street in Antis Township on Feb. 3 sometime between 2:20 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Someone took a Samsung DVD player and a pioneer CD player from the residence of 47-year-old Jack Eugene Fetterman.

A Tyrone woman, 33-year-old Robin J. Caber, suffered minor injuries in an accident on Rossman Road in Antis Township on Feb. 6, shortly before 1 a.m.
Caber lost control of her car when a tire went flat and she ended up hitting an embankment.
Police said Caber was wearing a seat belt. Her vehicle had severe damage.

A State College man escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 220 in Taylor Township, Centre County on Feb. 21, 2005 at 2:45 a.m.
The accident happened about three-tenths of a mile south of Fowler Hollow Road, when 37-year-old Mark David Bunge was traveling south and lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered roadway.
Bunge traveled into the northbound lane before crossing back into the southbound lane and into a ditch located off of the southbound berm where it came to a final rest.
Bunge was wearing a seat belt and his vehicle sustained disabling damage.

An Irvona man was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 453, Janesville Pike, approximately six miles north of Tyrone Borough in Snyder Township on Feb. 22 at 6:45 a.m.
A truck driven by Robert Kennedy was traveling south on the road when the vehicle went out of control due to icy road conditions. The truck struck the east embankment.
After striking the embankment, the vehicle rolled over onto its roof and came to a rest in the north lane facing north.
Kennedy was wearing a seat belt and the state police release did not indicate if he was hurt in the accident. His truck had severe damage.

An unidentified vehicle hit a fire hydrant at the intersection of Meade and McCoy Street in the village of Northwood in Snyder Township on Feb. 24 at 6:20 a.m.
The vehicle was traveling westbound on McCoy when it slid through the intersection hitting the hydrant. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene.
State police listed the Tyrone Water Authority as owner of the property.

A 24-year-old Tyrone woman, Jessica Leanne Sprankle, escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident on Feb. 24 at 8:20 a.m.
The accident happened on State Route 4019 in Antis Township when Sprankle lost control on a snow-covered road. Her vehicle hit a tree.
State police said Sprankle was wearing a seat belt and her vehicle had severe damage.

An Altoona man, Daniel Dileo, was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 220 in Snyder Township on Feb. 24 at 10 a.m.
Dileo lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered road. His car hit a utility pole and rolled over.
State police said Dileo was using a seat belt and his vehicle had severe damage.

A 33-year-old Bellwood woman, Rhonda Jean Nagle, suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Antis Township on Feb. 24 at 3 p.m.
Nagle was driving an SUV on State Route 4019 about two miles south of Bellwood when she lost control on the snow-covered road. Her vehicle slid across the road and traveled up an embankment before rolling onto its left side.
Police said Nagle was wearing a seat belt and her vehicle had moderate damage.
