Edith M. Musser, 84, of Unionville, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Centre Crest Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Berean Bible Fellowship Church and a 1938 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
In addition to being a homemaker for 58 years she was a waitress and worked at the Mifflinburg Silk Mill during WWII.
She was a member of the Unionville Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed photography, crafts and making new friends with her husband on numerous bus trips. She also enjoyed gardening and had an exceptional green thumb with flowers. She also loved her cats Mitch and Brandy.
Mrs. Musser was born April 4, 1921 in Williamsport, the daughter of the late Dreese and Estella Rhoades Moyer.
On June 15, 1946 she married Paul H. Musser who preceded her in death November 26, 2003.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Musser of rural Bellefonte and Randy Musser of Milesburg, one sister, M. Jean Hostrander of South Williamsport and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Pearl Sattler, Ruthe Black, and Jennie Moyer and one brother George Moyer.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home in Milesburg with Rev. Wayne A. Shamer officiating.
Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg on Thursday, April 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Township, Centre County.
