Yesterday, the Blair County Drug Task Force conducted a series of operations in the Snyder Township area of Blair County.
As a result of the operations, officers executed a search warrant at the residence of Aaron T. Rutherford, RD 4 Box 53, Tyrone. Police seized seven packets of heroin labeled “Bad Boy”.
Arrested at the location were Rutherford and two juveniles from New York. One juvenile, age 17, is from Brooklyn, and the other juvenile, age 15, is from New York City.
Both juveniles were placed in the Blair County Juvenile Detention Home.
Rutherford was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Craig Ormsby who placed him in the Blair County Jail with bail of $8,000 straight for one count of criminal conspiracy, heroin; one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The second operation conducted was a buy bust where officers apprehended two subjects from Pittsburgh for the sale of both crack cocaine and heroin.
