Everyone is invited to celebrate the 21st annual community arts and crafts day as area friends and neighbors showcase their handiwork at the Tuckahoe Street Fair slated for October 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bellwood’s Excelsior No. 1 Firehall.
The emphasis of the community fair is handmade arts and crafts and craft demonstrations.
Anniversary baskets, sweatshirts and quilts along with arts, crafts and all types of baked goods including cakes, pies, cookies and candy will be available at the fair.
Arts and crafts featured will be ceramics, wood crafts, quilts, baskets, candles, floral arrangements, painted items, dolls, needlework and machine stitched projects.
The Logan Valley Presbyterian Church will be serving breakfast.
For all the Civil War enthusiasts in the area, a Civil War Encampment will be set up.
Not only will individuals be able to purchase crafts during the fair, there will also be a chance to make-your-own scarecrow.
The fair will be held rain or shine.
For individuals who would like to take a look at past events, a Tuckahoe Street Fair photo collage is on display at the Bellwood-Antis Public Library.
