Those who attend the Bellwood-Antis School Board meetings will notice a new face among the regulars.
Beginning this month, a student representative will sit among the board members and present a student report. This year’s representative is Liam Flynn, who was chosen by the student council.
According to Superintendent Brian Toth, each year the student council will choose a new student to represent the student body. He said this is something that was done in the past but eventually faded out when students were no longer interested in participating. However, students began showing interest again and Toth said the board was more than happy to have a student representative.
In other business, the board voted to revert to the original cost of $5 per year for Senior Citizens sports passes. This change will not take affect until the beginning of the 2006-07 school year.

In the technology department, coordinator, Michael Lingenfelter said things are moving along with getting the district policy guide online. He also said things seem to be going smoothing with the grading system available to parents online.
