State police investigated a robbery earlier this month at the Adult World Book Store in Antis Township.
The incident happened on Oct. 1 at 1:45 a.m. when the suspect entered the store and brandished a shotgun at the clerk. The robber demanded money from a 64-year-old clerk who was on duty at the store.
The clerk complied with the demand and the robber left the store with a small amount of cash. The clerk was not injured during the incident.
Police described the suspect as a white man between the ages of 20 and 30. He was described as being five feet, eight inches tall and weighed 150 pounds. His hair and eye color were unknown. The suspect was wearing a large green jacket, a plaid shirt and a light-colored stocking cap/ski mask with stripes and baggy blue jeans.
Authorities are asking anyone with information on the crime to contact Hollidaysburg-based state police at 696-6100 or Crimesolvers of Blair County at 695-7555.

A registration plate was stolen from a vehicle in Snyder Township sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 5:50 p.m. on Oct. 2.
Police said someone removed the registration plate from a vehicle that was parked along Meade Street in the Village of Northwood. Police said the vehicle belonged to Todd L. Mertiff of Tyrone.
The stolen plate had a Pennsylvania registration number DVS9545, according to the police release.

Police arrested a 43-year-old Altoona man on suspicion of DUI after a report from a Sinking Valley resident that he had put his vehicle in a ditch.
State police said Logan Township police stopped Joseph S. Finegan III along State Route 1013 in Tyrone Township. The Sinking Valley resident who initially contacted authorities said he had been in contact with Finegan and reported him to be highly intoxicated.
After Logan Township Police detained Finegan they waited for Hollidaysburg-based state police to arrive at the scene.
Finegan was arrested for DUI and transported to Bon Secours Hospital for a blood test. Authorities said charges were pending based on the results of the tests.

Two Tyrone women escaped injuries in a two-vehicle accident on State Route 220 at the intersection with Halloran Drive in Tipton, Antis Township on Oct. 3 at 8:05 a.m.
State police said a car driven by 51-year-old Kathy H. Cowher went through a steady red light and struck a vehicle operated by 47-year-old Marilyn J. Kirkpatrick.
Both women were wearing seat belts. Police did not list any damage estimate to the vehicles.
