A tribute has been scheduled for Mayor Patricia Stoner.
The two-time mayor will be honored at the Tyrone Social Center on Saturday, Nov. 5.
A wine and cheese social is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will be followed by dinner and ceremonies to honor Tyrone’s municipal leader.
A longtime friend of the mayor, Lt. Governor Catherine Baker Knoll, will be one of the keynote speakers. Rev. Norman Huff is also scheduled to be a keynote speaker.
Tickets are available at the borough office, Joybeans, the Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce, G & P Dollar Stretcher and Alice’s Garden.
Tickets are $11 and must be purchased by Nov. 2. No tickets will be available at the door.
