State police reported the recovery of a stolen vehicle along Meade Street in Northwood, Snyder Township on Oct. 24.
A 1989 Buick Century Sedan, blue in color, was reported as stolen to the Altoona Police on Oct. 14. The vehicle, owned by Jacob Michael Stoeher, was recovered along the road. There was minor damage to the right front end of the vehicle that appeared to have been caused by an accident.
As of last Friday, police were continuing their investigation.

A Tyrone woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Oct. 24 at 5:35 p.m. on State Route 350 in Taylor Township, Centre County.
A vehicle operated by 20-year-old Jeffrey Neilson of Philipsburg and another car operated by 39-year-old Connie Blowers were both traveling north on the road when the accident happened.
Blowers slowed her vehicle and was signaling a left turn. Neilson traveling behind Blowers was unable to stop his vehicle. Neilson’s vehicle slid into the opposite lane and hit Blowers’ car while it was making the left.
Neilson was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Blowers was also wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. Both vehicles had moderate damage.

A rural Altoona man’s vehicle was subjected to criminal mischief in Pinecroft sometime between 10 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 25.
Someone cut two tires on the vehicle while it was parked in front the vehicle owner’s residence.

Philipsburg-based state police investigated an accident last week on State Route 220 in Taylor Township, Centre County, just north of the Blair County line.
A pick-up truck operated by 33-year-old Joseph J. Leahey of State College was northbound on the road on Oct. 25, shortly before 1 p.m. The vehicle was traveling around a left hand curve when he lost control of his pick-up truck on the wet road.
The truck traveled into the east shoulder, hit a pole and flipped over, landing on its wheels. The truck came to a rest 30 feet east of the road in a ditch.
Leahey was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The vehicle, which was owned by G.M. McCrossin, Inc. of Bellefonte was totaled.
Leahey was cited for violation of driving his vehicle at safe speed laws.
