State police investigated a burglary at a trailer in Snyder Township that happened sometime between 8 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 12 noon on Oct. 20.
The victim in the case, Ronald Bruce Fink of Gypsy Camp Hollow Road, said an unknown person broke into his trailer and took a rifle. The rifle is a Winchester Model #94 .30-30 caliber.
Authorities said they were continuing their investigation.

Two candidates for Snyder Township Supervisor positions were the victims of theft when some political signs were stolen sometime between 6 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 22.
Robert Ayers and James Miller had signs taken from their yards and neighboring yards.

An 18-year-old Greensburg man was charged with retail theft after a pump-and-run incident in Warriors Mark Township on Oct. 22.
Huntingdon County-based state police said Albert M. Yurinko was accused of pumping $40.05 worth of gas without paying for it at the Uni-Mart in the village. Charges were filed at a magisterial district judge’s office.

A Snyder Township man was the victim of a burglary at his residence on Hoover’s Lane sometime between 9 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 23.
State police said an unknown person entered the garage at the Michael David Albright residence through an unlocked door. A Milwaukee 18-volt cordless hammer drill, a Milwaukee 18-volt cordless drill and a Milwaukee circular saw were stolen.
Police were continuing their investigation as of Wednesday of last week.

An Altoona woman’s vehicle was broken into sometime between 10 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 in Antis Township.
The incident happened when Valerie Ann Reeves’s car was parked at a residence located on North Cambria St. Someone broke the rear passenger- side door window. They then entered the vehicle and removed the victim’s pocket book, which contained some money. They also removed a CD player from the dashboard. The thief also opened the trunk and removed an amplifier and two speakers from it.
