Christmas is fast approaching and the Presbyterian Homes’ Auxiliary have a special day planned to help individuals get into the holiday spirit, while enjoying a fun day of shopping.
The Auxiliary will hold its annual holiday bazaar on Saturday, November 19 beginning at 9 a.m. in the seventh floor ballroom of the Presbyterian Homes’ Moshannon Heights facility at 200 East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg.
There will be a variety of items for sale throughout the day including beautiful and unique handmade crafts, gift items and a white elephant booth. There will be plenty of food also, baked goods, candies, pumpkin rolls, and the Auxiliary’s homemade cheese balls.
The lunch menu will include sloppy joes, hot dogs, drinks, desserts and the Auxiliary’s ever-popular vegetable soup.
Sloppy joe mix and vegetable soup by the quart will also be available to take and enjoy at home.
As a special treat, Santa will once again make an appearance at the bazaar. He is scheduled to arrive at 11 a.m. and will be available for photos with kids of all ages.
The Presbyterian Homes’ Auxiliary holiday bazaar provides a great day for shopping, socializing and helps prepare individuals for the holiday season.
All proceeds from this event go directly to benefit the residents of the Presbyterian Homes.
