Jonelle Elaine Snyder Reese of Williamsburg went home to the Lord on Monday, July 24, 2006.
She was born on December 13, 1955 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, and moved to Williamsburg with her husband and children in 1984. She graduated from Bellwood- Antis High School in 1973, and received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Education from Christopher Newport College in 1989. For the past several years, she taught kindergarten and first grade at Greenwood Elementary School in Newport News.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Elwood Snyder and Dorothy Snyder Herlt, and her brother, David Snyder.
Her survivors include her beloved husband of 32 years, Paul; her son and daughter-in- law Daniel and Susan Reese; her son Aaron Reese and his fiancée Christina Daniel; and her grandchildren Paul and Laura Reese. Also surviving are her sisters Nancy Itinger and Cheryl Baney of Tyrone, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
Jonelle loved the beach, teaching children, and spending time with her family and friends. Her strong faith in Christ served as a testimony to many.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 29, 2006, at King’s Way Church in Williamsburg. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of the church (downstairs) immediately following the service.
