A 42-year-old rural Tyrone man was the victim of a burglary sometime between 6 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 5.
State police said someone entered the garage of Gary James Miller through unlocked doors and removed a nail gun used for roofing. Police said a nail gun used for framing was also taken from the victim’s porch.
The investigation is continuing.

A 54-year-old Tyrone man was stopped on Sept. 4 at 2 a.m. after allegedly committing several traffic offenses.
Police said Issac Earl Harpster was stopped and found to be operating under the influence. Charges were filed at the Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller’s office.

A 25-year-old Warriors Mark man was involved in a DUI-related accident on State Route 350 about three miles south of Sandy Ridge in Rush Township on Sept. 5 at 1:44 a.m.
Police said Alex Musser swerved to miss a deer and lost control of his vehicle, which then slid off the west side of the road and rolled onto its roof. At the crash scene, police said they determined Musser was intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for DUI.
Musser was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Charges were to be filed before a magisterial district judge.

A Tyrone man has been accused in a pump and run case at the Sheetz store in Antis Township on Sept. 6 at 11:58 a.m.
Police allege Michael Rummell pumped $61 worth of gas and then drove off without paying for it. Police said the act was recorded by video tape.

A 35-year-old Tyrone woman, Ginger Lee Branter, has been accused in a DUI incident in Tyrone on Saturday at 12:15 a.m.
Police said the woman was driving in the Adams and Oak Avenue area and was stopped for an equipment violation and was discovered to be under the influence of alcohol.
Charges will be filed before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller. The charges will include driving under the influence and several summary violations.

A 29-year-old rural Tyrone man, Mark Ernest Campbell will be cited for harassment and disorderly conduct after an incident at the Snappy’s Convenience Store in Bald Eagle, Snyder Township on Saturday at 2:10 a.m.
Police said store employees reported he harassed them and caused a disturbance in the store. Citations will be filed before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.

A 75-year-old Altoona man was injured in an accident in Antis Township on Saturday at 4:35 p.m.
State police said Leon C. Cramer was operating a three-wheeled motorcycle eastbound on Rigglesgap Road. Upon approaching the intersection with Asbury Lane, Cramer attempted to make a turn at the last second.
As Cramer was making the turn, its left rear tire came off the ground and the motorcycle left the road. It then struck a mailbox and a parked pickup truck. When the motorcycle struck the truck, Cramer was thrown from it.
Cramer was transported to Altoona Hospital by Bellwood Ambulance. His motorcycle had minor damage. Police were assisted by the Pinecroft Volunteer Fire Department.
