A theft by deception case occurred in Snyder Township around the date of December 15.
PA State Police from Hollidaysburg report that Bernard Sherwin, age 63 of Tyrone, lent $500 to the suspect, a man known to him. The suspect paid him back with a post dated check and stopped payment on the check.

A theft occurred along Beechwood Drive in Antis Township a some point between April 2006 and January 12, 2007.
The victim, Neal Grove of Altoona, received a phone call from a New York Trooper advising him they had recovered a pistol owned by him. When the victim went to check for his pistol, he discovered that it was missing. The pistol was a 357 caliber.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PA State Police at Hollidaysburg.

SR 453 in Snyder Township was the scene of a one car accident on January 18.
Michael Ellenberger, age 28 of Tyrone, was southbound on SR 453. His right front tire blew out as he was negotiating a curve. He lost control of his vehicle and drove through a set of guidewires and wood posts.
Ellenberger was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.

They are looking for the whereabouts of Vincent White. He is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, black hair, brown eyes. White is wanted for failure to appear in Blair County Court on charges of Possession and Delivery of Cocaine.
