Hilda Mae Olenick, 81, of 94 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at her residence.
She was born July 1, 1925 in Morann, a daughter of Stephen and Ruth (Brown) Sklar. She was married to Paul W. Olenick who preceded her in death on June 11, 2002.
Surviving are a son, Paul S. and wife Peggy of Osceola Mills; a daughter, Ruth Rougeux and husband Kenneth of Hawk Run; a grandson, Paul D. and wife Deb of Philipsburg; a granddaughter, Mindy Rae Rougeux of Hawk Run; two great-grandchildren, Derek and Taylor Olenick of Philipsburg; three sisters, Betty Minds and husband Arthur of Ramey, Leanora Dobish of Beccaria and Marie Fuoss and husband Richard of Tyrone and a brother, Steven James Sklar and wife Bonnie of Navaro, Florida.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred and Shirley Ann and a brother, George.
Mrs. Olenick was a 1943 graduate of Woodword High School. She was previously employed at Sylvania in Houtzdale and Altoona. She was of the Protestant faith.
Viewing and services were held on Friday, March 2, 2007 with Rev. Myers Kimmel officiating. Burial was at Blair Memorial Park.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Feller Memorial Home.
