Hollidaysburg State Police report a theft by deception at New Pig Corp.
This occurred when an employee claimed that his paycheck had been stolen. A replacement check was issued to the employee and it was cashed. It was later learned that the original paycheck had also been cashed by the employee in the amount of $322.70 constituting a theft.
A suspect has been identified and the investigation continues.

A criminal trespass occurred in Antis Township on February 4.
Clanissa Berardi, age 32, of Bellwood, filed the charge against Steven Garber, age 23, alleging he entered her residence after he was previously told not to return.
A preliminary hearing will be held before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.

The Pinecroft Firehall in Antis Township was the scene of a theft on February 18.
Beth Ann Cunningham, age 33 of Altoona, allegedly stole the victim’s check book from her purse while she played bingo.

A criminal mischief incident occurred on North Avenue in Tyrone on February 18.
James Earl Dixon, age 23 of Tyrone, was charged with criminal mischief after he punched the passenger side window out of vehicle owned by Timothy Scott Taylor of Tyrone.

A harassment incident occurred in the parking lot of Ray’s Burial Vault in Snyder Township on February 18.
Daniel Marie Smith, age 21 of Tyrone, was charged with harassment after she assaulted Samantha McAllister, age 21 of Tyrone, at the scene of a crash they were involved in.

A harassment incident occurred along SR 4019 in Antis Township on February 20.
Peggy Shawley, of Altoona, received a letter in the mail and felt threatened by the letter.
The investigation is on going.

Another harassment incident occurred in Antis Township.
On February 21, Brandy Merritts accused Lucas Williams with harassment after he pulled her off her bed during a domestic argument.

A one vehicle accident occurred on SR 1013, Sinking Valley Road, Tyrone Township, on February 21.
This occurred as Philip Friedenberger, age 19, of Altoona, was traveling north at the above location. He lost control of the vehicle and struck a snow bank west of the roadway. This caused him to roll onto his roof and land in the middle of the roadway upside down. Friedenberger’s vehicle then caught fire.
Friedenberger was arrested for DUI and underage drinking. Blood tests showed that he was above the legal limit at the time of the crash. Friedenberger, along with two passengers David Lattieri, 19, of Altoona, and a 13-year-old juvenile female, escaped injury.
Friedenberger and Lattieri were cited for underage drinking at the office of Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.

A hit and run accident occurred on I-99 near Antis Township on February 21.
Amy Moore was traveling south on I-99 when she fell asleep. She then struck the back of another vehicle which failed to stop after the collision.

A one car accident occurred on I-99 near the Tyrone Exit on February 22.
Angela Dawn Hildebrand, 19, of Tyrone, was traveling north on I-99. She lost control due to patches of ice on the roadway. The front end of her car struck a cement barrier in the median of the roadway. Hildebrand’s car came to rest in the left northbound lane of I-99 facing south.
Hildebrand and a passenger, Matt John Woomer, 19, of Tyrone, escaped injury. A 17-year-old male juvenile passenger received moderate injuries.
