Earlier this year, pre-registration for kindergarten was held at Myers Elementary School in Bellwood.
Parents of soon-to-be kindergarten students were asked to contact the school in order to be put on the kindergarten mailing list.
Now, appointments are being scheduled for those who have pre-registered for the 2007-08 school year. This year’s registration is scheduled for April 18 and 19.
Anyone who has not received a registration packet, along with a registration appointment time, but feel they should have, should contact the elementary school office at 742-2272 as soon as possible so the information can be mailed out.
Parents who should receive registration information are those with children who will be eligible for kindergarten next year. Eligible students will turn five-years-old before September 1, 2007.
Also, any student who will be eligible for first grade, but did not attend kindergarten in the Bellwood-Antis School District, should register. Children eligible for first grade will be six-years-old before September 1, 2007.
