Riggles Gap Road in Antis Township was the scene of a one vehicle accident March 16.
Matthew Beard, age 26, said he lost control when he swerved to miss a deer. The front end of his car impacted a utility pole.

SR 865 in Antis Township was the scene of a one vehicle accident March 16.
Margaret Jones of Cresson, was traveling south on SR 865 and lost control on the snow covered road. Her vehicle hit an embankment and rolled onto its side.
Jones and a passenger in her vehicle, George Freeberger were taken to Altoona Hospital for treatment.

Old Route 220 was the scene of a two vehicle accident March 16.
This occurred as Melanie Longcare, age 27 of Sunbury, was traveling south on SR 220. She allegedly looked away from the roadway and lost control due to excess speed for the existing roadway and weather conditions. She traveled into the oncoming lane of travel and struck Donald Reichenbach Jr., age 48 of State College, who was traveling north on SR 220, causing initial impact.

A simple assault and domestic violence incident occurred on Riggles Gap Road in Antis Township March 17.
Zachary Caldwell, age 23, of Altoona, was charged with simple assault and harassment after Sara Tomchick, age 22, of Tyrone, sustained a fractured wrist from a physical altercation.
